Continued Prayer Request

Good Morning our Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Peggy and I are requesting prayers for her next phase of the cancer treatment.

Tomorrow, Monday, Peggy will be having a mammogram to check and see if any other cancer has developed along with creating a baseline for the radiation treatments. The MDs have stated that if things are still clear Peggy will start the 7 weeks/5 days a week of radiation. If not clear (enough) we will discuss options.

We ask you to pray with us that the mammogram will be clear and the radiation treatments will be completely successful.

We have been blessed that there will be no chemo, MDs did not see a reason to go through that; Praise JESUS

We are Blessed beyond words with the prayers and support we have received from our FFC Family.

May our LORD mightily BLESS and PROTECT you all and GUIDE you in HIS path for you.

Prayer Request

I would like to put in a prayer request for safe travels to Arkansas this week. I received a call on Thursday night that my dad had a major stroke. That night our Lord said that is enough and it's time to come home. My dad now has a room in a mansion and I still live in a 1200 sq. ft . house. We will miss dad but we celebrate the fact that he is home with out Lord and Savior. The funeral will be next Saturday in Arkansas. We will be driving since air fare would be about $3,000.00 to fly my family back there. Thank you for the AWESOME prayer team that supports Firefighters for Christ.

Prayer Request for Christina Laveaga

Please keep Christina Laveaga in prayer. She is in the emergency room at St. Jude Hospital. She is experiencing problems with her feeding tube. Pray that the doctors can solve the problem and that God would continue to protect Christina.

Prayer Request

I would like to ask if you could send out a prayer request for a friend of ours. His name is Dave, and he is an Anaheim Police Officer, 49 years old, and a committed Christain. On Tuesday, March 1st, Dave was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma, which is an extremely rare and very aggressive type of non-hodgkins lymphoma. With treatment, survival rates for this type of lymphoma run between 50% and 80%. Dave had a bone biopsy done yesterday (March 2nd) and has a meeting scheduled with his doctor to go over the results on Tuesday, March 8th. If the results indicate that this has spread to bone marrow, his survival chances will be significantly reduced. Due to the aggressive nature of this, he will most likely be starting Chemotherapy within the next week. Dave knows that God has a plan through all of this and is doing as well as can be expected.

Please pray for:
God's complete healing
Comfort, peace, and courage for Dave and his wife, daughter and son
Wisdom and guidance for my kids that they would know how best to minister to Dave's son and daughter.

Thanks, In His Service,
Dave Corbin, Upland FD (West End FFC)

Northern Ireland MP11

Yes! it is that time again. Christmas has gone the new year has past, spring is around the corner. The challenge of keeping things real and fresh. With spring brings the hope of new growth, new life and MP11. Are you engaged in the battle or battle weary or are you unsure of where the battle lines really are.  This has been a very trying time for many people in the world climate of uncertainty. However one thing we can be sure of, Jesus will return and we do have a limited time to engage in our part of this great adventure. Mission is a great way to get involved in the Battle for the Lost, to get some of our rough edges rubbed off. To be challenged about who our God is and who our God is in us. To be part of the big picture of FFC Int and work along side a Band of International Brothers

FFC Northern Ireland will be hosting Mission Possible 2011 arriving on Sat 7th May 2011 and departing on Mon 16th May 2011. You will be involved in the day to day operations of the NI Fire and Rescue Service encouraging fellow members of FFC to live their lives for Jesus Christ and bringing the Good News of the Gospel to others around you in deed and word. If you are interested in being part of MP11 please contact me at robert.blair6@tiscali.co.uk and I will send you an invitation to our blog which will give you a lot more information and a short video. Some have already confirmed they will be here and some have expressed an interest in being part of the team but they need to confirm. To help us with planning please confirm as soon as possible.
